Chemical Kinetics

Kinetics is the study of how fast chemical reactions occur.

There are 4 important factors which affect rates of reactions:
- reactant concentration,
- temperature,
- action of catalysts, and
- surface area.

Goal: to understand chemical reactions at the molecular level.
