Interviewing for an Academic Job

Good Interview Questions

This website provides a list of interview questions that one academician in the field of history compiled during her own academic job search.  The questions are generally applicable to all prospective academicians though admittedly some are more relevant to those in the social sciences.  There are links to an application checklist for those in American Studies and to a document providing the author's own advice on how to handle interviews.  Last updated ca. 1998.
